Are they warm enough for winter?
We’ve opted for a warm lining, tested in our laboratories and in the field with adventurers just like you! For stationary comfort at X°C, and dynamic comfort at X°C, we’ve considered the differences between men and women, for guaranteed fun in the snow!
What protection is offered for the outside?
Your boots provide great protection from snow! They have a waterproof mid-height outer sole to keep your feet dry, and a warm, water-repellent fabric upper so you can say goodbye to the cold and infiltration of snow. Off to the next winter adventure!
Traction or grip? The differences
For traction, imagine the studs of shoes like claws that grip the floor when climbing.
For grip, grooves under the soles act like the tyres of a car, keeping you stable on slippery ground!
With them on, you'll make light work of the winter terrain
What does the Snow Contact technology provide?
Thanks to the specific fabric used and the design of the studs, Snow Contact soles ensure good grip on sloping terrain and traction on snow. Their 3.5 mm lugs are positioned and specifically designed to hug the snow, drain off water and guard against slipping
What resistance do they provide over time?
Our engineers carry out analysis to check that our products hold the road! They test all the following: resistance of the straps with checks of the gluing, UV resistance, abrasion and ageing. Nothing escapes their attention to ensure your complete satisfaction
What should you wear for a snow hike?
Here are our tips for braving the winter:
- Wool socks for maximum warmth,
- Breathable socks adapted to every adventure to keep your feet dry,
-A pair depending on the height of the upper, because style and comfort go hand in hand in the snow
How to preserve the waterproofing?
The water-repellency of the fabric repels water on the surface without absorbing it, keeping this pair of boots light, breathable and warm. The water-repellent treatment requires renewal periodically, to ensure its effectiveness over the product’s lifetime. Apply on the fabric as a spray or liquid
How to dry the inside of your boot.
To effectively dry the inside of your damp boots, remove the insole, use newspaper to absorb moisture and change it regularly. Avoid direct heat sources which might damage the material and dry them in a warm, dry and ventilated place
