XCR UCI / XCR TRIATHLON WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES?
The XCR UCI has been designed to meet UCI standards and therefore restricts cockpit position adjustments (depth and width)
The XCR Tri offers a cockpit that meets triathletes' positioning expectations, with the possibility of maximizing adjustment lengths and widths thanks to a mounting plate and triathlon-specific extensions and armrests.
The Tri frame also incorporates a toolbox and a bento box.
XCR UCI FRAME, A BEAST TO RIDE!
The XCR frame is a high-modulus carbon frame that meets the demands of top-level cycling.
It was designed in collaboration with Swiss Side, whose expertise in aerodynamics enabled us to find every lever for optimization without concession.
It complies with UCI regulations and is suitable for road time trials.
The Decathlon AG2R Team and Van Rysel Roubaix cycling teams use the XCR on the world's biggest races, such as the Tour de France.
COCKPIT XCR UCI
The right position is a fundamental factor in performance, especially when it comes to time trials.
We've designed a cockpit that allows a multitude of adjustments: Height, Width, Depth and angulation, thanks to various elements such as the extension support platform and the various adjustment spacers.
As far as extensions are concerned, we've chosen Deda's Jet One carbon monocoque model to offer you perfect ergonomics.

WARNING AND SETTINGS
ATTENTION: never brake with no load, if there is no wheel, you risk sticking the pads.
If your disc touches, please proceed as follows to realign the wheel and the caliper:
- Loosen the wheel axle
- Brake hard and retighten the wheel axle at the same time
- If the disc still touches, you'll need to do the same operation while loosening the caliper
- If the problem persists, go to the store.
BRAKE PAD HONING PROCEDURES
Ride on a flat, dry road with no obstacles.
It is important to alternate front and rear braking, and to follow the following steps:
Step 1: Ride at 15 km/h and brake gradually down to 5 km/h, 10 times in succession.
Step 2: Ride at 20 km/h and brake gradually down to 5 km/h, 10 times in succession.
Step 3: Ride at 25 km/h and brake gradually down to 5 km/h, 10 times in succession.
Between each step, relax and ride for a few dozen metres.
MAINTENANCE ADVICE
We would like to draw your attention to the need for regular maintenance of your transmission, especially if you ride in difficult conditions (wet and/or dirty roads)
Regular maintenance will ensure that your transmission lasts longer.

WHICH SIZE TO CHOOSE?
Please refer to the bike's geometry chart.
Ideally, we advise you to carry out a postural study to take full advantage of your bike's performance.
If you're between two sizes, a shorter bike will be better suited to cyclists looking for a more responsive, more responsive bike. If, on the other hand, you're looking for a more composed bike for long-distance riding, the larger size may be the better choice.
