Sun protection
Our main fabric has a white coating that guarantees UPF 50+ sun protection.
Please note: a lot of UV rays pass directly or indirectly through the front of the shelter, so we advise you to protect your skin.
Assembly and disassembly
This shelter features our "2seconds" technology, with the hooped structure pre-assembled on the textile envelope.
Before using for the first time, read the assembly and disassembly instructions on the product and watch the video on our website Decathlon.fr.
When opening, keep people within a perimeter of 3m and hold the shelter at arm's length.
The shelter is self-supporting, so orient it and plant the 3 sardines.
Heat reduction
The entire shelter is fitted with our Fresh fabric. This exclusive and innovative concept reduces heat thanks to the combination of 3 technologies: white polyester and titanium dioxide (TIO²) to reflect the sun's rays & aluminum to insulate against heat.
Door configuration
- When partially closed, the door protects your belongings from wind, dust or sand.
- When fully closed, the shelter can be used as a small changing room.
Wind resistance
Use the supplied pegs in case of wind.
Tip: for excellent wind resistance, in addition to the pegs supplied to secure the shelter to the ground, you can use the cover by filling it halfway with pebbles/sand, or your loaded backpack, by placing it inside on the windward side.
Solid fiberglass hoops offer excellent resistance to breakage. The 5 mm diameter galvanized steel poles are highly resistant to torsion.
Don't throw it away, fix it!
This shelter is designed to be repairable, and spare parts and hoop repairs are available at your local Decathlon workshop or at Decathlon.fr.

Care and storage advice
Our shelters have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks a year) during your outings in the great outdoors. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks may damage the fabric. These products do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed for permanent outdoor use. To ensure the longest possible life for your shelter, it should be cleaned and stored dry in its cover when not in use.
Rain protection
This shelter protects you from light rain thanks to its polyurethane-coated polyester fabric. The ground sheet protects you from dampness and run-off.
Caution! The seams are not waterproof, so you won't be protected in heavy rain.
