Easy-to-put-on underwear for rehabilitation

After surgery or an injury, it can be difficult to find suitable underwear that's easy to put on. That's why it's best to choose accessible opening systems (front or side). Decathlon undergarments have been designed to meet the constraints encountered during periods of temporary disability.

How are men's and women's undergarments designed?

The Sports Adaptés et Handisport team Decathlon designed and tested these undergarments with the participation of people with reduced mobility. Group development and real-life testing were carried out in order to design underwear adapted to the practice of sport, with the particularity of being easier to put on. The undergarments feature hook-and-loop fasteners on the front and sides, making them easier to put on. What's more, they are designed with few seams, especially in the seat area, to reduce chafing and provide greater comfort and freedom of movement.
