The aim of a bicycle anti-theft device is to make the theft operation more complex, to delay the thief: this is what makes it above all a deterrent.
A good anti-theft device is made up of a lock that limits the risk of picking, and materials that require the use of specific, and therefore restrictive, tools.

To achieve this, B'TWIN has defined a test protocol with an independent laboratory, CNPP, based on real-life theft techniques.
This unique protocol enables each model to be given a comparable burglary-resistance rating from 0 to 10.
It is also certified by external organizations ART2 and Sold Secure silver.

Tubular shackle in case-hardened steel for excellent resistance (to bolt cutters, saws and hammers).
Rubber coating (flexible sheathing) limits rattling of the lock against the bike frame and prevents scratching of paintwork.

This kit consists of a high-security U lock and an additional cable.
The U lock secures the bike by attaching the frame to a fixed point.
