What does the kit consist of?
The kit consists of:
- a detection ring which is easy to install on all basketball hoops on the market.
- a protective shell to install the phone on the post of the hoop and protect it from the impact of the ball.
- an application available from the Apple store or Google play.
How does the product work?
The sensor ring connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth using the "Decathlon Basketball Play" application.
The application features a wide variety of customizable GAMES, for fun ALONE or IN MULTIPLE, as well as daily, monthly and global game STATISTICS with challenges.

What games come with the product?
SHOOT OUT > Score the most points in the allotted time!
SHOOT TRAINING > Set yourself goals for your shooting training!
FREE PLAY > Play without constraints and count your baskets!
TIME CLASH > Trigger your opponents' stopwatches by scoring!
THE BOMB > Score to pass the ball to your opponents so that the bomb doesn't explode in your hands!
THE BANK > Feed the bank by scoring, but don't miss where you'll collect the loot!
What does the kit measure?
For all size 5, 6 or 7 balls, the kit will detect either:
- a basket scored with a rebound on the hoop or the board,
- a basket scored without a rebound on the hoop or the board ("Swish")
- a missed basket if the ball touches the board or the hoop.
It will not detect a shot that does not touch the hoop or the board ("Airball").
What phones can I use "Decathlon Basketball Play" on?
The "Decathlon Basketball Play" application is compatible with iOS 16 and later and Android 10 and later.
The protective shell works with all smartphones between 6 and 9 cm wide and 10 and 18.5 cm high. You can also use the kit without the shell, but without any guarantee of protection.
How easy is it to install the kit?
The detection ring is easy to install on all the hoops on the market. It attaches to the inside of the net using the existing hooks.
The phone cover is just as easy to install on the post, thanks to its fastening strap. The smartphone is secured by the side clamp.
You can also place the hull on the side of the field, within an 8m radius of the basket, to ensure Bluetooth connection.
What maintenance is required on the product?
The product requires no special maintenance.
It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, and is resistant to prolonged exposure to the elements.
You'll just need to change the battery periodically (ref. CR2032, supplied), depending on your use.
