Application tips:
Before application, test the product on a small area of skin to check that your horse is not having an allergic reaction (presence of essential oils).
Wash hands before and after use. Shower limbs to remove all impurities. Check for small wounds. Apply the clay in a thick layer (approx. 1cm) against the grain and leave to act for 1 to 2 hours in the open air before rinsing. Once the clay is dry, it has no further action.
Precautions for use :
Contains mint essential oil and menthol (which have properties that could be assimilated to a doping treatment). Although detection depends on dosage, and is unlikely in practice, it is advisable to stop using the product 72 hours before an official event.
Composition
INGREDIENTS: llite, Kaolin, Montmorillonite, Aqua, Glycerin, Potassium sorbate, Menthol, Mentha arvensis leaf oil, Eucalyptus globulus oil
Illite, Kaolin, Montmorillonite : green clay => promotes horse recovery
Aqua : water
Glyercin : vegetable glycerine => moisturizes and prevents the paste from drying out
Potassium sorbate: preservative
Menthol, Mentha arvensis leaf oil, Eucalyptus globulus oil: menthol, essential oils of mint and eucalyptus => provide the fresh effect
How long should I leave the clay on?
It all depends on the thickness of clay you apply and the drying conditions. Once the clay is dry (approx. 2 hrs), it has no further effect on the limbs. We advise you to let the clay air-dry on your horse.
You can then rinse off all the refreshing clay or brush the limbs.
