EN 14450 S1 STANDARD
This cabinet complies with EN 14450 S1, which defines the requirements, classification and burglary resistance test methods for domestic safes. This standard guarantees that the resistance of the strongbox has been tested and validated (steel, structure, lock, pull-out...) to slow down a break-in attempt with limited tools.
Warning! This standard is distinct from that of a Safe (standard EN 1143 - 1)."
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PART 1
Throughout our 10 years of experience in the field of standardized strongboxes, we have listened to you and benefited from your constructive criticism. Your opinions and comments have enabled us to improve our products.
Your recurrent remark about the height of the shelf has been taken into account: we have made it adjustable and removable.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PART 2
The durability of our foam supports has been improved: denser foam, permanently fixed. We've increased the thickness and density of our mats to make them more comfortable for your weapons. A little extra safety? To reassure you, we've chosen to increase the diameter of the bolts by 5mm.
QUALITY CONTROL
To ensure that our strongboxes are beyond reproach, we have relied on the expertise of a supplier working with the world leaders in the field. Based on our plans and requirements, and drawing on its know-how and industrial facilities, we were able to produce products of impeccable quality. Subject to quality control throughout the manufacturing process, we have chosen to complement this with an additional check by our quality managers.
LOCK SECURITY
The lock on this cabinet complies with standard EN 1300 class A, which defines the classification of high-security locks according to their resistance to burglary (high-precision cast steel, 280,000 possible key combinations; 8-point lock).
This lock is made in Germany.
Caution! Keys are not reproducible.
LABORATORY CERTIFICATION
The VdS laboratory (based in Germany) is one of the most demanding certification bodies in Europe. Through a series of burglary tests, it checks, validates and certifies the conformity of the strongbox to the EN 14450 standard.
This certification body is recognized at European level (in the same way as A2P, for example) by insurance companies. That's why we choose this laboratory to certify our strong-arms.
HOW TO STORE YOUR WEAPONS
Your weapons must be stored unloaded, cleaned and dried. The introduction of humidity inside the cabinet could lead to the appearance of rust on some of your weapons. You may wish to add a dehumidifying solution (e.g. silica sachet...) to the inside of your strongbox.
The foam inserts supplied with your product will help secure your weapons in the racks to prevent accidental dropping.
STORAGE TIPS
Position the cabinet in a dry, temperate room, and fix it to the floor or wall.
Do not store the second key in the strong cabinet. Keep it in a safe place, independently of the first key.
