In addition to a reinforced envelope, the ball has a
100% butyl bladder inside. This reduces pressure loss and allows you to continue playing 3 times more between re-inflations.
Why is the R900 ball so grippy?
The R900 Tarmak basketball has been designed with an exclusive rubber coating for exceptional resistance and grip.
Its unique cramponing also gives it an excellent grip.
Which ball size to choose?
The size of the ball depends on the age or sex of the player.
Size 1 : From 2 years old

Which ball to play basketball with
If you're looking for a hard-wearing ball, opt for a rubber ball. If you want a ball with a good touch, you'll need a leather or synthetic ball.
What pressure should you use to inflate your basketball?
An over-inflated or under-inflated basketball won't give you the best feel for the game.
The recommended pressure for a basketball is clearly indicated on the ball by each manufacturer.
Ideally, you should use a pump with a pressure gauge to be precise.
For the R900, here's the pressure we recommend: 0.55 bar.
Enjoy the game!
What height basketball hoop should I choose?
The regulation height for a basketball hoop is 3.05m (height of the hoop).
If you're looking for a basketball backboard for a child, you'll need a hoop with a height-adjustment system.
For the youngest children, there is no official height, so you can choose the height that suits them.
Up to the age of 10, children play in clubs on 2.60m baskets.
After the age of 10, girls and boys play on 3.05m basketball backboards.
