Not all balloons are made the same way. Balloon panels can be machine-sewn or hand-sewn.
The entire 100 range is machine-sewn. This makes for a very good value balloon.
From the 300 range upwards, balloons are hand-stitched. This ensures better resistance to wear and tear, shape retention and enhanced performance (grip, trajectory, etc.).
A ball for initiation and learning.
If you're just starting out and are looking for a ball that's fun to play with, choose a lightweight ball with a pronounced grip from the 100 range.
The balls in the 100 range are designed for occasional use. These balls are light and non-traumatizing, making them ideal for beginners.
When you're starting to make progress, particularly with passing, opt for the 300 range.
Choose the right size rugby ball.
There are different sizes of ball.
For the youngest (5 - 9 years old), choose a size 3 ball: lighter and easier to handle for the youngest.
For children aged 10 to 14 and women aged 10 to 18, choose a size 4 ball.
For people over 14, choose a size 5 ball.
To help you, the size is written on the ball.
