To offer the best possible playing comfort, our team went out on the court to meet you, the volleyball experts. "To promote a pleasant feel for the ball, we wanted to keep the outer component as pure as possible. The result is a ball that hurts less than its rivals when you're defending an opposing attack", explains engineer Fiona.
A blend of lightness and strength to play like the pros
The ball's weight, which ranges from 260g to 280g, as well as the number of panels, the type of components and its resistance are all taken into account. Tested in our laboratories to a higher standard than that required by the FIVB, this ball withstands 10,000 throws on a steel board at a speed of 50 km/hr. At the end of the test, it does not deform and retains good pressure.
An iconic design unique in the world of volleyball
Imagined by our passionate volleyball designers, this ball features an exclusive design, marked by a paneling (assembly of strips or panels of synthetic material, around the bladder) unique in the world of volleyball. Where most balls are based on an 18-panel assembly, this ball is made with 12 panels, to give you better performance.
Increased visibility
To make your volleyball practice more enjoyable, we designed a ball with a strong visual identity, which is above all visible on the court. "We wanted a ball that was visible when it spun, and a design that accentuated movement," confides Paulo, Product Manager and former professional volleyball player.
Controlled trajectories
Inside this balloon, we added a counterbalanced bladder, i.e. we inserted a rubber disk, like a counterweight, opposite the valve. The aim? To give the ball more balance and stability during your training sessions and competitions.
