The 2.5M bands are made from a fabric composed of polyester and cotton, for greater strength and flexibility.
WHY USE BOXING BELTS?
Boxing straps are designed to lock the joints of the hand (metacarpals and wrist), as well as to limit irritation in areas of repeated blows.
In addition, the straps absorb perspiration from your hands, ensuring a longer life for your boxing gloves.
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR BELTS
For light (low-impact) sparring, 2.5M or 3M bands are more than sufficient - you just need to concentrate the bandage on the right areas (thumb, metacarpal and wrist).
However, for more intense sparring, I recommend 4M or 4.5M bands, which offer a much stronger hold and greater thickness for metacarpal protection.
