Why incorporate a triceps bar into your workouts?
The special shape of this body-building bar stimulates the triceps. It allows you to vary the position of your hands with its different grips, thus recruiting different fibers for each muscle group. As a complement to a conventional barbell, with which you work the biceps, the triceps bar is useful for balancing the arm muscles.
Use your triceps bar safely
Maximum load of the triceps bar in horizontal position:
- 100kg
- The addition of a disc stop is essential to secure your weights (smart disc stop: ref: 8574652)
- Use of the bar in vertical position is not recommended.
What weights should this triceps bar be loaded with?
This triceps bar is compatible with all our 28mm weights up to a maximum of 100kg.
Cast-iron weights:
- from 0.5 to 20kg
Rubber-coated weights:
- 1.25kg (ref: 8388222)

To keep it long-lasting, keep your triceps bar dry
As with all steel bodybuilding equipment, you should avoid storing your bar in a damp place.
Opt instead for a cupboard or your garage.
If you wish to clean your bar after your training session, you can use a slightly damp cloth.
Muscle up your triceps with our coach's exercises!
Perform the triceps standing or seated, barbell behind the head with arms in the air, or lying on a bench.
- Building strength: 3 to 5 sets of less than 6 repetitions
- Building muscle mass: 3 to 4 sets of 6 to 12 repetitions
- Toning: 3 sets of 12 to 20 repetitions
Always start with the minimum number of repetitions (with a 2-rep margin) and increase by one repetition/week. Then increase the load weight and start again with the minimum number of repetitions.
