What are proteins good for?
Proteins help maintain muscle mass. It is one of the 3 essential macro-nutrients for our bodies (the others are lipids and carbohydrates). ANSES (Agence nationale de sécurité sanitaire de l'alimentation, de l'environnement et du travail) recommends a daily protein intake of 0.83 per kilo of body weight*.
* For example, for a woman weighing 60 kilos: 60 X 0.83 = approximately 49 grams of protein per day.
A new recipe, and protein bars with no artificial sweeteners or flavourings.
Our approach: no sweeteners, no artificial flavors, a revised recipe list (fewer ingredients than in our previous bar) and ingredients that are easy to decipher. If you don't know what one of the ingredients in the recipe is used for, just ask us ;-) (questions & answers - ask your question).
