How to choose the right pole size for skateboarding?

The choice of poles is very important in cross-country skiing. If it's too short or too long, you'll have great difficulty skiing properly.

For skating technique:
They must be large to maximize thrust
To calculate their size, there are two solutions:
Skating pole size = skier's shoulder

or

Skating pole size = skier's height * 0.89
The size of the poles will also depend on the skier's physical qualities.

How to choose the right pole size for the classic technique?

For classic technique:
Poles for alternative (or classic) cross-country skiing are slightly smaller.
Pole size = skier's armpit

or

Pole size = skier's height * 0.83
Once again, pole size will also depend on the skier's physical qualities.
