Drop is the difference between length and weight (in inches and ounces). The higher the number and the further away from zero, the lighter and more maneuverable the bat. The smaller and closer to zero, the heavier and more powerful the bat.

1. Keeping your arm straight at your side, measure the distance between the middle of your torso and the tip of your index finger.

2. Place the bat beside you: if your palm reaches the handle, you've got the right size.
