Durable boots, yes, but thanks to what?
The front of these boots, from instep to toe, is reinforced, ensuring high resistance to scratching by vegetation. The upper is made of GOMMA-PLUS, an exclusive, hard-wearing component manufactured from rubber. The suppleness of this material ensures smooth, fatigue-free walking and prevents tearing or cracking. What's more, the outsole's grip layer is made of abrasion-resistant hard rubber.
Parcours 2 Signature: comfortable and anti-fatigue
The Parcours 2 Signature are flexible, so you can walk for a long time without heel or ankle pain. Lined with full-grain leather, they are comfortable to wear. What's more, the outsole is made up of 3 layers: a hard one for grip, a medium one for stability and a softer one for cushioning, for maximum walking comfort.
Anti-heating and anti-perspiration: two other features that characterize these boots
The full-grain leather lining prevents rubbing inside the boot. The insole is made of leather-covered Softex absorbent foam. This helps regulate perspiration. As for the tridensity outsole, it insulates against the ground and the cold.
And what about cushioning?
The first layer of the outsole is made of soft rubber to cushion steps. The heel is fitted with a "spring effect cushion". Its purpose? To absorb shocks and accompany the rolling of the foot, restoring some of the dynamics of walking. Steps are "lighter", and long walks less tiring.
Finally, a word on the adaptability of boots to calf size
The upper is fitted with a leather gusset and pull tab, allowing the boot to be adapted to the calf (3 cm of clearance around the calf).
