How does the slim cross-strap bra free up movement?
Whatever your sport, it's important that you feel free to move around and enjoy it to the full.
We designed this sports bra with this in mind. You'll love its stretch, enhanced by the addition of elastane to the fabric. The under-chest elastic is also perfectly adapted to accompany you during your sessions without discomfort.
Finally, we opted for thin, crossed straps to free up the shoulder blades.
The thin cross-strap bra keeps you dry! How do you do it?
To get the most out of your sports activities, you're not afraid to get your swimsuit wet. However, you don't necessarily appreciate the resulting feeling of wetness. How about a bra that keeps you dry even when you're exerting yourself?
Impossible is not Decathlon ! For the design of this bra, we used a technical fabric that wicks away perspiration and dries quickly.
The mesh in the back also promotes breathability.
Why adjustable straps on the thin cross-over bra?
To help you adapt this sports bra to your body shape, we've added adjustable straps in the back.
How important is it to protect the chest during sport?
Did you know that the skin is the main source of support for your breasts? This fragility exposes them even more during sporting activity, where they are subjected to much greater stress. Movement and bounce can even make them feel up to five times heavier, depending on the intensity of the exercise. Opting for a sports bra gives them the support, comfort and protection they need, and protects them from shock, pain and premature sagging.
How are bras made at Decathlon ?
Decathlon bras are designed to provide greater comfort and prevent health problems. The absence of underwiring eliminates the risk of injury and lymph node compression. Minimized seams at the nipple reduce the risk of irritation. The choice of moisture-wicking components guarantees your comfort while significantly reducing the risk of skin irritation.
How to find the right size for your sports bra?
Choosing the right bra size for your body type is essential to ensure that your breasts are supported and comfortable. Follow these steps:
- In front of a mirror, measure your bust with a tape measure;
- Place the tape horizontally at the top of your back, on the lower part of your shoulder blades;
- Pass the tape over the end of your bust;
- Take the measurement loosely;

Strong, medium or weak support - what's the point?
During exercise, the breasts undergo tensions that stretch the skin and ligaments of the chest. Lack of support increases the risk of pain or premature sagging. Conversely, excessive support can also cause long-term damage. So it's essential to adjust your bra's level of support according to your cup size and the intensity of the impact you experience. The aim is to preserve the bust without altering the natural movement of the breast.
What are the support levels of Decathlon sports bras?
Our laboratories validate the models by means of a test evaluating breast support. This test measures the reduction in the acceleration of breast movement during sporting activity. They are evaluated and then graded: 1 for light support, 3 for medium support and 5 for strong support.
How do you match the right level of support to the right sport?
The level of support depends on the type of sport. We offer you a choice of 3 levels:
- Level 1: light support for activities involving gentle chest movements (Pilates, stretching, muscle strengthening...);
- Level 3: moderate support for activities involving moderate bounce (dance, fitness, cardio-training...);
- Level 5: strong support for activities involving intense movements (step, treadmill, trampoline...).
How to care for the thin cross-strap bra?
Suitable for intensive use, this bra withstands frequent washing. We recommend removing the foam pads before washing, then placing the whole garment in our washing net, sold separately (ref. 8505236). For washing temperature, do not exceed 30°. Use liquid detergent rather than washing powder, and avoid fabric softeners to preserve the breathability of fabrics. Tumble-drying is not recommended.
