Why is it so much easier to move around when you're wearing the strong support double-zip back bra?
First, we opted for a stretch fabric containing elastane. More elastic, the bra is able to follow your every move without any discomfort. We've also designed a swimmer's back to free up the shoulder blades and therefore arm movements.
How easy is it to put on the double-breasted, high support, zippered bra?
To make dressing and undressing easier, we've designed this sports bra with a front zip. You can put it on just as easily as a jacket. Hook-and-loop fasteners under the front zip also allow you to adjust the size of the back easily. Finally, for shoulder comfort, the straps can also be adjusted from the front. The front adjustment points make this bra ideal for sportswomen with arm mobility problems.
How important is chest protection during exercise?
During sport, your breasts, which are fragile and mainly supported by the skin, are exposed to more intense stress than usual. No matter what your cup size or age, your breasts undergo movement and bounce. They can support up to 5 times their own weight, depending on the intensity of the activity. A sports bra offers the necessary support, comfort and protection. It protects the breasts from impact, pain and premature sagging.
Strong, medium or weak support: how to choose?
During exercise, the breasts undergo tensions that stretch the skin and ligaments of the chest. Without support, the risk of pain or premature sagging is increased. Conversely, excessive support can also cause long-term damage. Adapting the level of support in your bra to your cup size and the intensity of impact is therefore essential. The aim is to preserve the bust without altering the natural movement of the breast.
What are the support levels of Decathlon sports bras?
The models are validated in our laboratories using a breast support test that measures the reduction in the acceleration of breast movement during sport. They are evaluated and graded: 1 for light support, 3 for medium support and 5 for strong support.
What level of bra support is right for each sport?

- In front of a mirror, take a tape measure;
- Place it horizontally, at the top of your back, on the lower part of your shoulder blades;
- Pass the tape over the end of your bust;
- Take the measurement loosely;
