DIMENSIONS AND MODULARITY
The cage is 250 cm wide, 80 cm high and 92 cm deep.
The water polo goal is the official size for beach water polo. Its structure is reinforced by additional hoops to prevent it from deforming under the impact of shots from adult players.
It can be used to play water polo on any body of water: pool, lake or sea.
The posts are circular in cross-section, 12 cm in diameter.
ASSEMBLY
INFLATION
The goal should be inflated using a pump at a pressure of 7 PSI (0.48 bar) via the "boston" type valve installed on the goal. We recommend using a 5.2L pump available from DECATHLON (part no. 8243066 or 8387583).
PUMP NOT SUPPLIED.
INNOVATIVE BALLASTING
The cage is fixed either with ropes or an innovative ballast system.
To ensure effective ballasting, fill the bags with stones or sand up to the limit, to reach an approximate weight of 15kg.
Each bag is then inflated to swim to the pitch. This makes it easier to set up around the terrain. When the weights are in place, deflate them to let them sink to the bottom.
RESISTANCE
For its inflatable part, our goal is made up of 3 bladders: a main bladder connected to the 2 hoop bladders by a ONE pump system that allows all bladders to be inflated with the main valve.
Each TPU bladder is surrounded by a protective Tarpaulin sheath (a mixture of several layers of PVC and textile).
This ensures the product's resistance to external aggression while maintaining the goal's rectangular shape.
DISASSEMBLY
Unscrew the top valve cap completely, then partially unscrew the valve at the base of the goal and allow the air to escape for about 1 minute.
ATTENTION: a very loud noise will be heard if the base of the valve is unscrewed too quickly.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Our product is designed to be repairable by the customer. If a leak is detected, simply open the 2 zips surrounding the punctured bladder and remove the bladder to locate the leak.
A repair kit (patch + spare valve + rope) is supplied.
A video instruction explains to the user how to extract the "bladders" from the protective sheaths, apply the patch and repair the cage.
