TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Which silks to use?

For surface fishing, we recommend using a WF7. For deeper fishing with intermediate and plunging lines, a WF6 will be sufficient.

Combat heel

The resistant rubber/cork fighting butt has a triple advantage:
- offsets the reel from the body when fighting a fish
- provides extra support when snatching the line, especially with plunging lines
Protects the rod when resting on the ground.

Which fixtures to use?

All reservoir fishing rigs are possible.
Surface fishing with a voluminous dry fly, especially in waves. Also ideal for tandem dry/nymph or dry/egg fishing. Sub-surface fishing with an intermediate line using chironomids or streamers. Deeper fishing with a type 3 to type 5 line and streamers.
