Works with a double-action, multi-tip hand pump. Itiwit
Inflating tips and bottom positioning
Connect the ITIWIT pump (sold separately) using the 1⁄4 turn pump tip and inflate the bottom to 5 PSI. Finish by screwing on the cap.
Insert the bottom inside the kayak and strap it to the ends. The bottom valve must be aligned with the side flange valves at the rear of the kayak. The bottom valve must leave free access to the drain plugs in the middle of the kayak.
Tips for inflating sidewalls and seats
Connect the ITIWIT pump (sold separately) using the 1⁄4 turn pump tip and inflate the bladders to 3 PSI. Finish by screwing on the cap. Each side bladder is fitted with an overpressure valve. Its role is to evacuate excess air caused by over-inflation. When this happens, you may hear a whistling sound. This whistling is normal, and can also occur during prolonged exposure to sunlight. It will stop when the pressure inside the kayak is optimal.
Seating comfort and positioning.
The seats are high to provide greater comfort for adults in the paddling position.
Position the seats on the bottom, using the Velcro zones located under the seat and on the bottom.
Slide any necessary luggage or equipment into the kayak's rear locker or attach it to the rear deck.
The boat is ready for launching.
Glide quality
The deck of the Itiwit 100+ kayak uses the same "dropstich" construction as inflatable stand-up paddles. Dropstich is a mesh of polyester threads sandwiched between 2 layers of PVC. When the deck is inflated at high pressure, the threads become taut and the construction becomes very solid, preventing any deformation.
Maintenance tips
Remove the seats and deflate the bottom slightly to facilitate rinsing.
Rinse the kayak, bottom and seats with clear water after each use to avoid damage from sand, salt water and sunlight.
Open the drain plugs in the middle of the kayak and at the rear. Tilt the kayak to empty the water.
Dismantling & folding
Remove the fins.
Deflate the side bladders. The valves are located at the rear of the kayak. ATTENTION: Do not unscrew the pressure relief valves at the front.
Fold the bottom.
Fold the rest of the kayak in half along the longitudinal axis. Lay the front fin base flat.
Place the rolled bottom on the front end. Roll up to the rear tip.
Secure the kayak.
Storage
Once dry and clean, the kayak should be stored in a dry, shaded area, unaffected by major temperature variations.
The kayak can be stored folded, but if you have enough space, you'll extend its lifespan by storing it flat, slightly inflated.

Instructions for use.
We advise you to practice with a buoyancy aid.
Réglementations canoé kayak <3,50 mètres
Is your canoe or kayak inflatable or rigid and less than 3.50 metres long? You are in possession of a beach craft.
You must remain at all times 300 meters from a shelter (any place on the coast where any craft or vessel and its crew can reach safety by anchoring or mooring and leave without assistance).
A buoyancy aid is not compulsory, but is strongly recommended to make it easier to climb back into the boat in the event of a fall.
Canoe kayak regulations > 3.50 metres
Your canoe is rigid or inflatable with at least 2 separate air chambers. It measures more than 3.50 meters. It is "sea-approved" by the manufacturer.
You can then navigate up to 2 nautical miles (about 3 km) from a shelter. You will need to have a number of safety features in place.
