Step 1: First-time use
To preserve the battery's capacity, we have added a plastic tab on the underside of the battery.
The first time you use the sensor, open the battery compartment and remove the plastic tab.
Warning: use this step to configure the sensor in cadence or speed mode!
Step 2: Select cadence or speed mode
To switch from speed to cadence, simply remove the battery and reinsert it.
- The small green light indicates that you are in speed mode
- The small red light indicates that you are in cadence mode
You cannot use both functions at the same time. If you wish to have both information at the same time, you will need two sensors.
Step 3: Installation
For cadence mode: Place the sensor on your crankset.
For speed mode: Place the sensor on the hub of your wheel.
Step 4: Login
To connect, simply turn the pedal a few times to "wake up" the sensor.
- Use with an application:
The sensor connects to all devices using ANT+ and/or Bluetooth Smart technologies. Follow the connection instructions in your third-party application's menu.
- Use with a computer/watch:
Go to your device's settings to set up the connection.
Detection threshold
Cadence: 30-180rpm
Speed: 5-85 km/h
Autonomy
After installing the battery, the sensor can be used normally for 500 hours, but there may be differences due to temperature and environmental factors.
When the sensor is not connected for use, please do not install it, as this will cause the sensor to wake up frequently and accelerate battery consumption.
Energy saving
To reduce energy consumption and extend operating time, if the sensor detects no data for 60 seconds, it will enter a sleep state, then automatically wake up and transmit data when activity resumes.
