More coolness and darkness for a better night's sleep!
Fresh & black is a technology patented by Decathlon which enables us to reflect the sun's rays and isolate light thanks to specific materials.
In this way, we reduce the feeling of heat in your tent, and gain in darkness.
To make the most of this technology, don't forget to ventilate your tent at night!
Sun protection and ventilation
Our Fresh&Black technology is based on a fabric with UPF 50+ sun protection.
Caution: be careful, a lot of UV can pass through a simple open door.
Inside each bedroom is a large low ventilation hatch.
The living room is equipped with 4 shuttered mosquito windows.
Highly wind-resistant
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
With proper assembly and the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in a force 8 wind, measured at 70 km/h.
Don't forget to re-inflate your inflatable poles regularly during your stay at the campsite (7 Psi).
Waterproofing and taped seams
We test our tents to ensure they are waterproof. The first test is carried out in the laboratory for 3 hours under 200 liters of water per hour per m², the equivalent of a tropical rainfall of 200 mm per hour. The second test is carried out in the field under real conditions by our teams. This tent is equipped with a 5000 mm polyurethane-coated polyester rain fly. It also features heat-sealed seams and a 140 g/m² polyethylene ground sheet.
Restriction Use
Comply with the Highway Code; driving the vehicle with a trailer may require a little practice.
Drive only on roads with a good road surface.
Make sure that the vehicle is authorized to tow a trailer with a maximum permissible weight of 500 kg.
Make sure that the driver and vehicle are insured, even if the vehicle is equipped with a trailer.
Do not drive with the tent open.
Restriction Usage (SUITE)
Make sure that ALL the instructions in the document "10 points to check before setting off" are followed; some points are essential to ensure the safety of the vehicle's passengers, other road users and the product.
Never handle the product alone; ensure that at least two people are present when coupling, uncoupling, assembling or dismantling the product.
Never handle the product when children are nearby.
Restriction Usage ( SUITE)
Pay close attention to the various signs on the product; certain operations may appear difficult or even impossible, or may even be dangerous (e.g. jammed fingers) if the instructions on the manuals are not followed to the letter.
Respect the total weight authorized for loading in the trailer; do not add more than 70 kg to the trailer, in addition to the initial load.
In the event of accident, injury or breakdown: contact the emergency services.
Repair
As designers and enthusiasts of our playground, we care about the durability of our products. That's why our tent trailers are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs of inflatable poles are possible, please contact your local Decathlon workshop.
Arches and posts
Inflatable hoops - All our inflatable hoops have a two-layer arch structure: an inner tube made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and a 600-denier polyester cover*.Reinforcement for living room and bedrooms - 3 aluminum bars are present in the living room and bedrooms to stiffen the structure
Stakes - All our stakes are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
34 hard-ground stakes are included.
*600 deniers indicates a weight of 600 g for 9 m in length.
Maintenance tips
Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks a year) on camping trips or in the great outdoors. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks may damage the fabric. These products do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed for permanent outdoor use. To ensure the longest possible life for your tent, it is important to store it when not in use.
