Recycling
Make sure that your cartridge is completely empty by using up all the gas.
Once you are sure that the cartridge is perfectly empty, find out about local recycling regulations.
You can generally dispose of them where mixed metals (your cartridge is steel-based) are recycled (local selective sorting, waste collection center or specific collection point according to local regulations).
Safety instructions
Extremely flammable gas.
Contains gas under pressure, may explode if heated.
Keep out of reach of children.
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, naked flames and all other sources of ignition. Do not smoke.
Leaking flammable gas: Do not extinguish if leak cannot be stopped without risk.
In case of leakage, eliminate all sources of ignition.
Protect from sunlight.
Store in a well-ventilated area.
Installing a gas cartridge :
When installing a gas cartridge, always operate in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors, and never in the presence of flames, heat sources, sparks, people or flammable materials.
Check that the gas inlet to your stove is properly closed, and that the gasket is present and in good condition.
Make sure the cartridge is on a stable horizontal surface. Do not shake it.
Fitting a gas cartridge (continued) :
Hold the appliance and turn the cartridge clockwise until it stops, taking care not to damage the threads.
Follow the same instructions when dismantling the cartridge.

It is normal for a small "pschit" (escaping gas) of less than 2 seconds to occur when connecting the cartridge to the stove.
