What is micellar casein?
Whey is the protein found in whey, the liquid part of milk. Casein is the protein present in the majority of milk and constitutes its solid, insoluble part.
Micellar casein is the casein naturally present in milk. It is a natural constituent of milk, obtained by microfiltration without destroying the micelle.
Benefits of micellar casein
Casein is said to be NATIVE and comes directly from milk. It slowly releases amino acids when the body is at rest for better recovery and an anti-catabolic action overnight.
When should micellar casein be used?
The chronology of protein intake in a muscle-building phase requires cutting off nocturnal protein hypercatabolism.
However, only a slow protein can do this. This is the advantage of casein, which should ideally be taken before bedtime to supply your muscles with amino acids continuously while you sleep, thereby contributing to anabolism (muscle building) and combating muscle catabolism (fiber destruction).
How do I prepare micellar casein?
For an intense flavor with a thicker texture, mix 2 spoonfuls of powder (i.e. 30g) with 250ml of liquid. For a milder flavor with a smoother texture, mix 2 spoonfuls of powder (i.e. 30g) with 300ml. You can prepare your micellar casein with water, a vegetable drink or milk. Blend for 30 seconds and enjoy.
After reconstitution, consume the shaker within the hour.
Directions for use
In addition to physical activity, it is important to maintain a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
In the event of prolonged consumption (> 6-8 weeks), medical advice should be sought.
This product is contraindicated in cases of renal or hepatic insufficiency, and for pregnant women and people under 14 years of age.
