Experience
We've designed this helmet to offer a maximum field of vision for greater comfort and safety (no blind spots).
Its rotation/translation system allows goggles to pass through without constraint when the visor is raised or lowered.
This system also has the advantage of providing a better fit to the face and reducing air ingress compared to a system with a simple rotation.
How do I change the visor?
The visor can be removed without tools to replace the original screen or to install a weather screen (sold separately).
Compatibility
The rotation/translation system ensures perfect compatibility with even the widest glasses.
Clamping wheel
The tightening knob is an essential part of your helmet's fit. This system allows easy, precise adjustment at all times, thanks to a knob that's accessible even when wearing ski gloves. The result is maximum comfort and safety. Turn the knob to the right to tighten, to the left to loosen.
EN 1077 standard
This type of construction incorporates an ABS outer shell, injection-molded to withstand powerful impacts. Highly resistant to bumps and knocks. The inner EPS shell absorbs shocks on impact. We recommend that you change your ski helmet every 5 years at most, if it has not suffered a major impact in the meantime.
Choosing a helmet size
* Measure your head circumference in centimetres (middle of forehead, just above the ears).
* Then choose the size that covers this measurement.
Example: if your head circumference is 56cm, then try a helmet size 55-59cm.
Fitting
Take as much time as you need for the fitting. You don't want to feel any uncomfortable points. If you do, try on another model. Always remember to try your visor helmet with your prescription glasses, if you have them.
Headphone settings
During practice, the ski helmet must be properly adjusted and fitted:
* It must be chosen in the right size.
* The head size must be adjusted using the tightening knob.
* The chinstrap must be correctly adjusted.
It's a bit like the seatbelt in a car: if it's too loose, it won't do its job and you'll be less well protected.
Optical quality
The visor supplied as standard is of the "fair weather" type (S3). Its color is brown/orange for greater versatility.
It can be disassembled without tools. A "bad weather" visor is available separately.
This is a single-screen visor with an anti-fog treatment on the inside (never wipe, but tap with a soft cloth).
Return conditions (Specific product: Personal protective equipment)
Make sure that the product is suitable for you.
If not, return it in accordance with our conditions: with instructions, labels and, if applicable, the original packaging.
Distribution
In the event of scratches, the fair-weather visor is available as a spare part.
A bad-weather visor is also available.
The system that holds the visor in place is also available.
The mechanism works with a small elastic band. If this should break over time, we have added 2 elastic bands to the chinstrap.
