The FCR range for Fast Racer is the product range on which we have worked the most on aerodynamics. It is dedicated to cyclists for whom every second counts. There's no compromise on performance.
The FCR range helmet has been designed to work perfectly with VR (road 900) goggles, with temples that clip perfectly into the helmet.
PRO HELMET
This FCR caque is the choice of the DECATHLON AG2R LA MONDIALE professional team for flat and hilly stages.
MIPS
The MIPS system is made up of a low-friction layer that allows a multidirectional movement of 10 to 15mm during certain oblique impacts.
This movement is designed to reduce the rotational force transmitted to the head.
The FCR MIPS is equipped with the MIPS air system, the lightest and most ventilated version of MIPS

SECURITY
Because the choice of a helmet is made first and foremost for safety reasons, this helmet meets all the most demanding standards in terms of impact.
It confirms to European regulation EN1078.
This standard covers the following aspects: construction, including the field of vision, shock absorption properties, retention system characteristics, including chinstrap and tightening devices, marking and information.

Please note that this helmet features the MIPS system. This system slightly modifies the sizing grid, so if you're at the top of the size range, we recommend you take the next size up.
VENTILATION
Optimum helmet ventilation is achieved when large air inlets are connected to air outlets by channels that allow air to circulate. The head is an essential element in cooling the body during intense effort.
Evacuation of the heat generated is therefore a priority for maintaining high levels of performance.
VENTILATION AND AERODYNAMICS
On the other hand, poorly-placed ventilation can lead to major losses in aerodynamic performance by significantly increasing drag.
The FCR's air inlets have been placed in high-pressure zones that do not impact the helmet's aerodynamics.
The 3 internal channels are wide and deep to ensure optimum airflow.
RETURN CONDITIONS (SPECIFIC TO EPI)
Helmets are PPE (personal protective equipment), so protection will depend on the condition of your helmet.
We can only take back helmets in new condition. If the helmet is not suitable for you, please return it to us with the instructions and labels.
HELMET LIFETIME
The life of a helmet is not eternal. To ensure maximum safety, we advise you to change your helmet every 5 to 7 years maximum. Store your helmet in a cool, dry place, away from light and in its cover.
Extreme temperatures accelerate the deterioration of helmet foam.
In the event of a major impact, it is imperative to change your helmet, as it may no longer be effective due to cracks in the structure.
