How do the headphones work?
The headset features a button for switching on and off: a beep accompanies switch-on and switch-off. Two buttons (+ / -) are used to adjust the amplification volume. These are active headphones: they feature a sound modulation system to keep in touch with the environment, while attenuating acoustic shocks (ambient noise is reduced, but audible frequencies are maintained).
Our recommendations for use
Depending on your shooting style (ball-trap, hunting...) and location (shooting range, plain, forest...), you can adapt the amplification volume. You should be able to hear your surroundings, but there's no need to "over-amplify". Note: if you're outdoors, be aware of the wind, which can cause the microphones to blow.
