Protection :
Are you new to the joys of riding? Opt for our 100 helmet, specially designed for you. Repeatedly tested in our workshops, it is designed to absorb part of the energy on impact by partially deforming the shell and/or the protective material.
In the event of a fall, replace your helmet: deformations are not always visible to the naked eye, and can sometimes be found inside the equipment.
Morphological adaptability :
Your riding gear should make you feel comfortable, and fit properly. The 100 helmet has the advantage of being adjustable and will adapt perfectly to your head size. It's available in 4 sizes, from XS to L, and goes from 48 to 61. To choose your size, try it on and play with the knob on the back of the helmet. Easy to use, you'll easily find the way to quickly adjust your helmet, whatever your head size.
Comfort :
To enjoy the pleasures of riding, you need to feel good in your equipment. To fulfill this contract, Fouganza engineers have fitted the harness attachments with foam, designed to provide maximum comfort. The inside of the helmet also contains removable foam, washable at 30°C, so you'll appreciate being protected! Also located at chin level, the foam will prevent the pinching that children usually experience with their first helmet.
Maintain :
Because effective protection means protection that fits securely on the head, the 100 helmet features a four-point lateral fastening system. Thanks to these four points connecting the harness to the shell, the helmet is held securely and evenly on the head. So you can trot and gallop, but if your helmet is the right size for you, it won't budge! No more bombs falling on your eyes and blinding you, leaving your horse alone in charge!
Ventilation :
Because ponies and horses can be unpredictable, and lessons can sometimes take unexpected turns, the designers of the 100 helmet have thought of a way to keep your head cool: the helmet features around 50 holes on the top to allow heat to escape. Our Fouganza team can't keep you out of the thrills, but at least we can keep you out of the heat!
Design :
Just because you're just starting out on horseback doesn't mean you don't have the right to some nice gear. The designers of the 100 helmet, which can be used for a wide range of equestrian activities, have thought of this: this effective protection comes with a visor in a variety of colors.
Easy maintenance :
To care for your helmet, clean the outside with a cloth.
We strongly advise against the use of solvents or other aggressive products, which could alter the helmet's efficiency and damage it.
For storage and transport, a small textile bag will protect it from dirt, scratches and light.
Helmet adjustment :
For optimum protection, the helmet should be in close contact with the head, but without compression points. When the harness and liner are properly adjusted, the helmet should not tip forward, backward or sideways, even when in motion.
The helmet harness should pass under the jaw, like a chinstrap, and not at chin level. It should be snug enough to prevent the helmet from tipping over, without strangling.
Shock absorption :
This helmet is designed to absorb part of the energy of a blow by partial deformation of the shell and/or protective material.
A helmet reduces the severity of head injuries. The protection afforded by a helmet depends on the circumstances of the accident, and wearing a protective helmet does not always prevent death or long-term disability.
Instructions for use:
We know you're anxious to test your helmet, but for your own safety, please read the instructions before using it.
This helmet is intended exclusively for riding, and must not be used for motor, sliding or aerial sports. If you decide to try your hand at bobsleigh, Formula 1 or hang-gliding, this helmet will unfortunately not meet your needs. We advise you to opt for more appropriate protection.
Service life :
Do you love your 100 helmet? Unfortunately, you won't be able to keep it forever: to ensure that your protection remains fully effective, we recommend that you replace it after every fall. Even if your helmet seems intact, you should be aware that some internal damage may not be visible to the naked eye. If you're riding really well, and there are no minor incidents to disrupt your sessions, you'll still need to replace your helmet after 5 years.
