Removable bonnet
We've designed this helmet with a cap to give you extra warmth during your ski touring outings.
If you get hot on the way up, you can easily remove the cap from the helmet. Then, for the descent, you can reposition it inside the helmet and secure it with Velcro fasteners.
Adjustment knob: TURNRING SYSTEM
The Turnring is an essential part of your helmet's fit. This system allows easy, precise adjustment at all times, thanks to a knob that's accessible even when wearing ski gloves. It gives you maximum comfort and safety. Turn the knob to the right to tighten, to the left to loosen.
Construction: in-Mold
In-Mold construction is used to create lightweight helmets. This technique forms an outer shell molded directly onto the inner EPS cap.
Its function is to absorb impact.
The rigid, light-gray shell that encloses the helmet is made of polycarbonate and increases protection against impact.
An intermediate layer (yellow) is added to the helmet's construction to protect against the risk of perforation (branches, stones).
Compatibility
Two plastic hooks on each side of the helmet allow you to slide on the elastic band of your headband.
The shape of the helmet has been designed to fit perfectly with the masks. WEDZE
RECCO® System:
If you use your helmet in ski resorts
The RECCO® Rescue System is a two-part technology used by the rescue services in most ski resorts.
- The RECCO® detector used by rescuers emits a directional signal.
- The RECCO® reflector integrated into your helmet returns this signal.
The rescuer then hears an audible signal directing him precisely to the buried person.
It is essential to check with the professionals before going out.
Tip: Product lifetime
We recommend that you change your ski touring helmet every 5 years at the most, provided it has not suffered a major impact in the meantime.
