HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE OF MOUNTAIN BIKE HELMET?

To find out your helmet size, simply measure your head circumference (at forehead level). This helmet is available in two sizes:

M/L: 53 - 60 cm

Certified to EN 1078

European standard setting out the requirements and test methods for helmets to be worn by users of rollerblades, skateboards, scooters and bicycles. The requirements and corresponding test methods cover the following aspects: construction, including the field of vision ; shock absorption properties; characteristics of the retention system, including chinstrap and tightening devices; marking and information.

WHAT IS THE MIPS SAFETY SYSTEM?

The Mips system is designed to bring additional safety to helmets.
If you are in an accident and hit your head, the Mips system in your helmet is designed to help reduce the rotational motion of certain impacts that would otherwise be transferred to the head.
Rotational motion is the most common cause of concussions and serious brain injuries in oblique blows to the head.

WHEN SHOULD YOU CHANGE YOUR HELMET?

We recommend changing your helmet in 2 cases:

1/ After a fall:
In the event of a fall, the material of your helmet may deteriorate or even break. Sometimes, you may not even notice it. That's why we advise you to replace it at the slightest doubt.

2/ After 5 years of use:
The foam deteriorates. It can be damaged by impact, storage, climate and use. We therefore advise you to change your helmet at least every 5 years.
