VENTILATION
This XC helmet has been designed with 13 strategically placed vents for maximum ventilation, especially during low-speed climbing. The head position on a mountain bike is often higher than on a road bike, so we've optimized the vents to be particularly effective in this position.
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE OF MOUNTAIN BIKE HELMET?
To find out your helmet size, simply measure your head circumference (from the forehead to the top of the neck). This MTB helmet is available in three sizes:
S: 52 - 55 cm
M: 55 - 59 cm
L: 59 - 62 cm
WEIGHT
S: 290 grams
M: 320 grams
L: 350 grams
WHEN SHOULD YOU CHANGE YOUR HELMET?
We recommend that you change your helmet in 2 cases:
1/ After a fall
In the event of a fall, the material of your helmet may deteriorate or even break. Sometimes, you may not even notice it. That's why we advise you to replace it if you have any doubts.
2/ After 5 years of use
Your helmet's foam deteriorates. It can be damaged by impact, storage, climate and use. We advise you to change your helmet at least every 5 years.
HOW TO ADJUST YOUR HEADSET
2 quick steps to adjust your helmet in 5 minutes:
1/ Clip the buckle on the 2 straps: check that you can still slip 2 fingers between the strap and your chin.
2/ Finally, adjust the headband.
The helmet must be in contact with your head, without tilting forwards, backwards or sideways, even when you're moving.
COMBINING SPORT AND SAFETY
Helmets may seem restrictive at first glance. The ROCKRIDER team is unanimous on this point: in mountain biking, the helmet really does have a role to play.
In fact, we all wear helmets. For us, helmets are essential. Think about it ;)
