TECHNICAL INFORMATION

What standards must a cap meet to be labelled "anti-UV"?

Anti-UV standards for hats and caps are very specific: the fabric must of course be anti-UV (UPF50+ index), but this is not enough to claim that the finished product is anti-UV. The cap must also protect the nape of the neck and have no visible openwork that could let the sun's rays through.
This Trek 900 cap complies with this standard, so you can hike with complete peace of mind: you're perfectly protected!

How do you measure drying speed?

The product is machine-washed 3 times, line-dried, then immersed in water and the time taken for the product to return to its pre-wash weight is measured.
This cap achieves a very good rating of 5 out of 5 stars by returning to its pre-wash weight in less than 80 minutes!
