The red color beam: when to use it and why? We explain it all
At dusk or the very end of the day, duck hunters using huts, barrels or gabions prepare their set-up and decoys. So, with this illuminated cap with red beams, you can see discreetly. Similarly, changing your decoys in the middle of the night without disturbing the whole team is no longer a problem: the lighting and the light provided by the red LEDs don't disturb the birds.
The white beam: for optimum visibility in low natural light conditions
The red lights also make it easy to avoid disturbing or waking up your hut-mates at night. But the other advantage of this illuminated cap is undeniably linked to the white LEDs: thanks to these two beams illuminating up to 8 meters in the dark, you have maximum visibility to access your installation in complete safety. No need to use a headlamp or the light from your smartphone.
A versatile camouflage cap designed to adapt to different biotopes and geographic zones
This lightweight (just 120g), illuminated hunting cap features the exclusive SOLOGNAC marsh camouflage pattern, designed to camouflage waterfowl such as ducks, geese and teal. Thanks to its extremely realistic representation of various plants (rushes, grasses, reeds), a marked 3D effect and a contrasting background between light and dark shades, our LED cap blends into the biotope at any time of day or dusk.
An indispensable accessory for every duck hunter
Also designed to better conceal the head of waterfowl, this cap, accompanied by pants, a jacket or even waders, is the ideal complement to your outfit to blur the human silhouette in the eyes of pintails, whistlers, mallards, teal, geese, pintails, chipeaux, kites and others. Note that this cap can be adjusted at the back to fit your head size by means of a Velcro fastening.
This illuminating cap: how does it work after all?
First of all, the 4 batteries needed to operate the cap's LEDs are included. All that's left to do is insert them into the dedicated box under the left side seam, and press the ignition button under the visor. A simple press on this button switches from white to red light. This way, some 25 hours of lighting await you: enough to spend many happy hours in the shade, don't you think?
