Is my cap UV-resistant?
Although the main fabric provides good UV protection with a UPF coefficient >50 (i.e. allowing only one-fiftieth of the rays through), this cap cannot be claimed to be UV-proof according to current standards, because it does not cover the nape of the neck and because the vents are made of openwork fabric, so do not block UV rays.
How do you measure drying speed?
The product is machine-washed 3 times, line-dried, then immersed in water and the time taken for the product to return to its pre-wash weight is measured.
This cap achieves a very good rating of 5 out of 5 stars by returning to its pre-wash weight in less than 80 minutes!
Extra strength thanks to checkered fabric
Checkerboard fabric is a mesh fabric. The warp and weft threads present are designed to ensure its resistance and to stop any tearing.
It is therefore particularly resistant compared to a smooth fabric, for example.
