What is the purpose of a leather bodybuilding belt?

This leather bodybuilding belt provides extra support by increasing abdominal pressure when lifting heavy loads (beyond 80% of your maximum repetition). This pressure acts like a protective "corset", keeping the spine in the correct position.

By using the belt as a fulcrum, your abdominal and lumbar muscles remain engaged throughout the effort, reducing the risk of frequent lower back injuries.

How to position your bodybuilding belt correctly?

Your belt should be tight enough to hold you in place and do its job as a "girdle". It's important to find the right balance so that you can practice safely.
First, fasten it over your hips, tightening it moderately. Then choose the tightest notch that allows you to breathe normally. For a better fit, pull your stomach in slightly to move up to the next notch.

Be careful not to wear it too often

Remember to loosen the belt after each set of exercises and avoid wearing it continuously, as it can increase your blood pressure.
Use it especially for exercises requiring heavy loads.

Put it on after your warm-ups, when you start lifting heavier weights.
