We explain the principle of the bib holder:
In triathlons, you have to wear your bib on your back when you're cycling and on your front when you're running, for reasons of visibility.
To make life easier and save time during transitions, we recommend a bib holder:
You hang your bib on your belt, which you rotate according to the stage of the triathlon.
And to make things even simpler, we suggest a bib holder where you can store your gels!
Lightweight and comfortable, we tell you more about the design of the long-distance bib holder.
A product that's both easy to use and easy to forget when you're running? We explain our design choices:
- Its soft, lightweight materials guarantee less weight and less irritation
- The Velcro fastening on the 2 G-easy flasks ensures that your gels stay in place while you run, without the belt moving when you detach them.
- The silicon gel band keeps the belt in place when you run
- The front pocket is made of 3D mesh for added comfort and lightness.
How do you eat right during a long run?
In general, you'll find hydration stands at your triathlon or long-distance races.
For nutrition, it's immediately a little more personal.
In general, we advise you to take 1 gel per hour on the bike, then 1 gel every 30 min on the run. And as G-Easy correspond to 2 classic gels, you can carry your 4 G-Easy in the bib carrier: 1 in each flask and 2 in the front pocket.
Sufficient for a triathlon or marathon :)
We tell you all about the design of the long-distance bib holder...
The idea behind this product came from a single question: how do you follow nutrition and hydration advice during a long run without getting in the way?
To find a lightweight, comfortable solution, our design team of 7 triathletes spent 18 months studying, discussing and testing the product with 10 triathletes, both beginners and experts.
And in the end, we're really proud to be able to offer you a product that's intuitive, practical and ergonomic for all your distances!
Any last words of advice before hitting the road?
To make the most of a bib holder that's forgotten when you're running, here's some advice from Jérémie, Product Manager at Aptonia :
"To keep the bib holder in place during the race, the ideal is to wear it at hip level: the silicone gel band sits on the crest of the pelvis, which prevents the belt from swinging during the race. It's worth taking 2 seconds during transition to put it on correctly rather than trying to adjust it while you're running!"
