The 500 hat is effective against the sun. It can be used in and out of the water for water sports.
Holding in the wave
This hat has 2 tightening systems:
- An adjustable Neoprene chinstrap for a very good hold in the waves, particularly when ducking and falling.
- An elastic tightening band around the head that adjusts the size of the hat and reinforces the hold in the waves.
Designed for surfing and bodyboarding, also suitable for dinghy sailing, stand-up paddling, water walking, windsurfing, kitesurfing, etc.
Behavior in the sun
Although this hat provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reverberation (on water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc. must be taken into account. Wearing a hat doesn't mean you don't have to take appropriate precautions: wear sunglasses, apply appropriate sun cream regularly, wear an anti-UV top or anti-UV shorts, drink regularly, etc.
