Wool properties
Thanks to its fine structure and irregular, flaky surface, which allows it to store a lot of air and through which water vapor can diffuse, wool has unique properties in terms of moisture management and thermal regulation. Its ability to store and release moisture, as well as its cushioning effect, make it a comfortable, insulating material that's well-suited to hiking socks.
How do I get the right footwear for hiking on snow?
To get the best outfitting for winter, we recommend the following principles:
Warmth: warm socks provide warmth.
Breathability: choose socks according to the intensity of the hike, and in particular choose breathable models to limit humidity.
Stem height: adapt the height of the sock to the height of the shoe.
Set of 2 pairs
This model is sold in sets of 2 pairs of socks in identical colors.
Choosing the right hiking sock size
We take advantage of the elastane qualities present in all our socks so that they adapt to your feet and stay in place during use. As we all have feet of different lengths, widths and volumes, we advise you to try on your socks in store before buying them, and to test your socks in use before setting off on a long hike.
