Mostly cotton
As with all our socks, cotton is in the majority. We want our socks to be soft and comfortable on the feet, and cotton thickened with bouclette provides this comfort.
Polyester and polyamide are used to provide resistance to rubbing, and cotton yarns are often twisted with polyamide in reinforcement zones (heel, toe, sole of foot).
Elastane provides the necessary elasticity.
Curl under foot
This RS 300 sock has a terry loop under the foot, at the toe and heel, to protect your foot from chafing. It's a moderately thick terrycloth sock that provides sufficient protection for non-intensive use, without adding too much heat.
This thickness of terrycloth also reinforces the sock's resistance.
Reinforcements
We have added reinforcements to this Artengo sock model at the heel, toe and under the sole of the foot.
As this sock is predominantly cotton, these reinforcements are provided by polyamide yarns twisted with cotton in the above-mentioned areas.
