Wire Characteristics
The sole of the sock is made of combed cotton. Combed cotton is made from much longer, silky-looking fibers that are better tangled. As a result, it has a much shinier appearance, softer to the touch, more stable in the wash and more solid in use. The top of the foot and heel are made of Polyamide for breathability and durability.
Why choose cotton from organic farming?
To offer you products that are soft and comfortable during practice, we use cotton from organic farming. It is grown without chemical fertilizers, pesticides or GMOs, which reduces the risk of soil and groundwater pollution.
How to choose the right size for your hiking socks?
You should choose a sock size that is suitable for your foot to avoid any additional creases: either because the sock is too big and therefore there is too much material around your foot, or because the sock is too small and is pulled towards the inside of the shoe.
We take advantage of the qualities of elastane so that our socks adapt well to your foot and stay in place.
It's important that you try on your socks before you go hiking.
How to choose the right material for your hiking socks?
It's important to manage humidity as effectively as possible: perspiration is often unavoidable.
If your shoe is breathable, it will evacuate the humidity from your perspiration: so you need to choose a light, breathable sock as well
If your shoe is waterproof, to protect you from the humidity of the rain, you won't make the same choice: you need to choose a sock that will absorb your perspiration and keep it as far away from your foot as possible.
Choosing the right height for your socks
We offer 3 sock heights on this model:
The "low": they protrude slightly from the shoe, but remain under your malleoli. They are worn with low-cut shoes.
The "mid": they protect your malleoli, stopping just above: they are worn with low-cut shoes.
The "high": these are ideal for mid-cut hiking boots, as they stop just below the calf and protect your ankle well from the shoe.
