EVOFIT LINER= THERMOFORMABLE LINER
Thanks to the Evofit concept, your ski boots adapt to the shape of your foot without compromising on support.
Its original wrap-around design enables the boot to adapt to a wide range of calf/shin shapes. We've played with different foam thicknesses, all thermoformable to protect at-risk areas such as the malleolus and metatarsals. Thanks to the shape of this liner, you no longer need to tighten your shoes to get a good fit.
WHY CHANGE A SKI BOOT LINER?
The first reason to change a ski boot is a liner that has aged faster than the shell.
You're not comfortable in your ski boots because your foot moves too much! The Evofit liner is a real alternative to changing your ski boots. This liner offers great comfort thanks to high-quality EVA foams. If you still have a hard spot, you can thermoform the liner to compress pressure zones.
WHAT'S THE POINT OF THERMOFORMING A LINER IN A SKI BOOT?
Some slippers use so-called thermoforming foams. This means that the foam in the liner can heat up to take the shape of your feet and the shell of the boot. This strengthens the foot-liner-shell connection and gives your foot more room for comfort.
We recommend that you ski your boots for at least 2 days before deciding whether or not to thermoform them.
HOW TO THERMOFORM YOUR LINER AT HOME?
1- Preheat the oven to 80°C with the heat turned on.
2- Remove the slippers from the shells.
3- Remove the insoles from your slippers.
4- Put the slippers in the oven for only 10 minutes.
5- Take the slippers out of the oven.
6- Put the insoles back inside the booties.
7- Put the booties back in the boots.
8- Put on your boots and lock each hook moderately.
9- Wait 15 minutes at room temperature before taking off your boots.
You're ready to ski!
HOW TO EASILY FIT SKI BOOTS WITH AN EVOFIT LINER?
You can spread the top of the liner widely by pulling the two loops (in and out) to create a wide opening. Be careful to put the tabs back in, as there is an inner and outer part.
WHAT TO DO ABOUT FOOT PAIN
1/ Choose a thin, technical ski sock to avoid pressure points and promote blood circulation in the foot.
2//Choose an insole adapted to the shape of your foot to prevent it from crushing against the shell. Ask a sales assistant for advice.
3/ Thermoform your liner.
