TECHNICAL INFORMATION

SKI Boots liner

These extremely comfortable ski boots conform to the shape of your feet without compromising support.
Their classic wrap-around design allows the boot to adapt to a wide range of calf/shin shapes. We've played with different thicknesses of foam, some of which are thermoformable to protect at-risk areas such as the malleolus and metatarsals. Excellent transfer thanks to preformed tongue.

WHY CHANGE A SKI BOOT LINER?

The first reason to change a ski boot is a liner that has aged faster than the shell.
You're not comfortable in your ski boots because your foot moves too much! The liner is a real alternative to changing your ski boots. This liner offers great comfort thanks to high-quality EVA foams. However, if you still have a hard spot, you can thermoform the liner to compress pressure zones.

WHAT'S THE POINT OF THERMOFORMING A LINER IN A SKI BOOT?

Some slippers use so-called thermoforming foams. This means that the foam in the liner can heat up to take the shape of your feet and the shell of the boot. This strengthens the foot-liner-shell connection and gives your foot more room for comfort.
We recommend that you ski your boots for at least 2 days before deciding whether or not to thermoform them.

HOW TO THERMOFORM YOUR LINER AT HOME?

1- Preheat the oven to 80°C with the heat turned on.
2- Remove the slippers from the shells.
3- Remove the insoles from your slippers.
4- Put the slippers in the oven for only 10 minutes.
5- Take the slippers out of the oven.
6- Put the insoles back inside the booties.
7- Put the booties back in the boots.
8- Put on your boots and lock each hook moderately.
9- Wait 15 minutes at room temperature before taking off your boots.
You're ready to ski!

WHAT TO DO ABOUT FOOT PAIN

1/ Choose a thin, technical ski sock to avoid pressure points and promote blood circulation in the foot.
2//Choose an insole adapted to the shape of your foot to prevent it from crushing against the shell. Ask a sales assistant for advice.
3/ Thermoform your liner.
