Our design team teamed up with French skateboarder Joseph GARBACCIO to develop the CRUSH900 GARBACCIO "Pro model" skate shoe.

A member of our skate team, Joseph is one of the world's best street skaters. Together, we developed a shoe that reflects his skating style: versatile, solid and technical.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Durability

With Joseph, we wanted to offer a shoe that would stand the test of time.
That's why we chose to make the upper (front part of the shoe) from RUBLAST rubber, a technology developed for a futsal shoe (BARRIO model).
The double lacing system protects the laces from friction from the board's grip.

Joseph jumps, to say the least!
To be able to skate longer, it's essential to have the right cushioning.
The CRUSH900 GARBACCIO is the first Decathlon Skateboarding model to feature a full-length E.V.A. midsole. Thicker at the heel and thinner at the front (boardfeel).

We have selected the "M FOAM" EVA foam developed for running shoes KIPRUN for its shock-absorbing properties.

Animal-free (vegan)

CRUSH900 GARBACCIO contains no ingredients of animal origin.

Shoe stability

Joseph Garbaccio is a powerful and committed street skater.
He wanted a very stable shoe to feel confident on the most committed spots.
"Cupsole" structure
That's why we added a "shank" under the arch of the foot. This is a stiffer, X-shaped piece of plastic that stabilizes the shoe on big landings. It's also useful for protecting "primo" landings (landing on the edge of the board can be very painful).

What is a CUPSOLE shoe?

A CUPSOLE is a molded sole glued directly to the upper. Unlike vulcanized soles, they do not go through an oven, which means that more technical components and materials can be used.
A cupsole shoe generally provides more support and stability than a vulcanized shoe. The cupsole will also often be lighter and more solid.
The CRUSH900 GARBACCIO features a rubber outsole, an EVA "M FOAM" midsole and a vulcanized sole.

For the design of this model, we carried out numerous laboratory tests to validate the main product advantages. These tests were revalidated in the field by Joseph Garbaccio and our community of skateboard testers.
