An innovative 2-part sole
The design team studied foot movement during the swing and this enabled us to define the ideal sole design and stud architecture.
The new sole combines two materials for maximum comfort and grip.
Part 1: the EVA midsole
EVA provides the cushioning you need when walking 7 to 8 km per round.
The midsole is asymmetrical to meet the particular demands of the golf swing.
Part 2: the rubber outsole
Rubber is a material that offers flexibility and lightness.
Our R&D team conducted a study of foot movement during the swing. This enabled us to define the geometry and thickness of each cleat for maximum grip during the swing.
We redesigned the distribution of cleats throughout the sole for good resistance.
A word from the designer
"The lines of the MW500 converge towards the forefoot for greater dynamism. I also worked on the link between the upper and the sole to reinforce the shoe's identity."
Details that make all the difference
- The base of the mesh upper is protected by an ultra-thin heat-sealed film that protects the toes and the entire perimeter of the shoe from moisture without compromising the shoe's lightness and flexibility.
- The outsole is perforated for greater lightness and comfort.
- The studs are more pronounced on the forefoot and inside of the foot to increase grip during the swing.
Non-waterproof
These shoes, designed to accompany golfers in hot, dry weather, are not waterproof for added breathability.
