WHY IS THE RUN CONFORT SHOE DESIGNED FOR JOGGING?
When you run, the shockwave generated by each impact with the ground corresponds to around 3 times your body weight. This wave propagates from the heel to the top of the spine. The joints act as shock absorbers, but they are also put to the test. To protect you from these shocks and impacts, we've designed the DECATHLON RUN CONFORT jogging shoe.
WHAT GUARANTEES THE CUSHIONING OF THE RUN CONFORT JOGGING SHOE?
The DECATHLON RUN CONFORT jogging shoe's cushioning is provided by an exclusive, soft and supple EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) foam sole we've named KALENSOLE, and by the "Circular System" concept: an air hole in the foam at heel level that disperses the shockwave more efficiently and evenly at this point.
WHY IS A GOOD FIT IMPORTANT?
When you jog, your feet need to be supported for several reasons: to avoid chafing, irritation and blisters.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR MY RUNNING SHOE?
To guarantee optimum comfort with the RUN CONFORT, choose one size larger than your usual shoe size. There should be 1cm between your toe and the tip of the shoe, as your foot swells during exercise.
WHAT IS THE DROP OF THE RUN CONFORT RUNNING SHOE?
The "drop" is the difference in height between the back (heel) and front (forefoot) of the shoe.
The difference in sole height between the front and back is 10 mm.
