Collaboration Asolo X Solognac
The outdoor footwear specialist Asolo and the hunting specialist Solognac have joined forces to design a range of unique footwear with outstanding features: Gore-tex membrane, Vibram sole, tough upper components and excellent assembly and finishing quality make these the ultimate hunting boots. What's more, all models have been tested for several months by hunting guides throughout France.
Gore-tex and Vibram
The Gore-tex Extended Comfort membrane and Vibram Megagrip outsole are the benchmark components in their market: a waterproof, breathable membrane to keep your feet dry in the rain and during exercise, and a tried-and-tested Vibram Megagrip component and outsole design to take you through any terrain, wet or dry, with the same grip.
The tough Cordura fabric will even get you through a few brambles.
Maintenance
It couldn't be easier to care for these shoes! Simply wash with soap and water, using no grease or detergent. Spray with NIKWAX waterproofing spray to reactivate the water repellency of leather and textiles. Do not dry next to a strong heat source to preserve the suppleness of the upper.
Asolo
Founded in 1975 in northern Italy, Asolo is a pioneer in hiking and mountaineering footwear. First to develop a hiking boot combining Cordura fabric and leather at its inception, it was then the first to offer a waterproof boot with the famous Gore-tex membrane in 1980. Today, Asolo is renowned for its subtle blend of tradition, manufacturing quality and innovation.
Vibram
A sole designer since 1937, it was by using the rubber vulcanization process, assisted by Pirelli, that the first sole was developed for mountaineering. The Vibram name was created, and the brand quickly became known for the excellent grip of its soles. The demanding practice of mountaineering enabled Vibram to develop real expertise. Today, the Megagrip compound is recognized as one of the best for wet and dry grip.
Gore-Tex
In 1958, Mr. and Mrs. Gore founded the Gore company in their garage in Newark, Delaware. Based on a scientific discovery, they were able to develop a material that could withstand severe weather without absorbing water. Gore-tex technology was born. It was used in waterproof jackets and gloves. In 1981, it was even used in astronauts' suits. Rapidly becoming the leader in the outdoor market, the brand continues to innovate to enable us to practice in all weathers.
