Asolo and Solognac
Outdoor footwear specialist Asolo and hunting specialist Solognac have joined forces to design a range of unique footwear with outstanding features: Gore-Tex membrane, Vibram sole, hard-wearing upper components and excellent assembly and finishing quality make these the ultimate hunting boots. All models have been tested for several months by hunting guides throughout France.
Gore-Tex and Vibram
The Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane and Vibram Master outsole are the benchmark components in their segment: a waterproof, breathable membrane to keep your feet dry in the rain and during exercise, and a tried-and-tested Vibram Master Mont component and outsole design to take you over rough terrain in all temperatures.
The puncture-resistant Schoeller fabric even lets you tackle brambles and other aggressive vegetation.
Maintenance
It couldn't be easier to care for these shoes! Simply wash with soap and water, using no grease or detergent. If necessary, spray them with a waterproofing spray once they're dry, to reactivate the water repellency of the leather. Don't dry them next to a strong heat source to preserve the suppleness of the upper.
Asolo
Founded in 1975 in northern Italy, Asolo is a pioneer in hiking and mountaineering footwear. First to develop a hiking boot combining Cordura fabric and leather at its inception, it was then the first to offer a waterproof boot with the famous Gore-Tex membrane in 1980. Today, Asolo is renowned for its subtle blend of tradition, manufacturing quality and innovation.
Vibram
A sole designer since 1937, it was by using the rubber vulcanization process, assisted by Pirelli, that the first sole was developed for mountaineering. The Vibram name was created, and the brand quickly became known for the excellent grip of its soles. The demanding practice of mountaineering enabled Vibram to develop real expertise. Today, the Mont compound is recognized as one of the best for grip in hot and cold weather.
Gore-Tex
In 1958, Mr. and Mrs. Gore founded the Gore company in their garage in Newark, Delaware. Based on a scientific discovery, they were able to develop a material that could withstand severe weather without absorbing water. Gore-Tex technology was born. It was used in waterproof jackets and gloves. Even astronauts' suits in 1981. Rapidly becoming the leader in the outdoor market, the brand continues to innovate to enable us to practice whatever the weather.
Schoeller Keprotec
The Schoeller adventure began in Switzerland in 1868. Specializing in the weaving of technical components, Schoeller develops textiles for the sports, work, motor sports and military industries. Driven by a strong commitment to innovation, Schoeller cultivates the notion of excellence. A partner of choice for a shoe that is highly resistant to aggressive vegetation. The Keprotec fabric comes from the world of motorcycling, and has been tested in mountaineering to provide this incredible resistance.
