TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Are they warm enough for winter?

Heading out to face the cold and snow? Our ultra-covering gaiter boot is for you! Lab- and field-tested, it guarantees comfort down to -8°C at rest and -16°C in action. It keeps your feet warm, even in the heaviest snowfalls.

Our source of inspiration?

In nature, animals are kings of adaptation! And guess what? So are we! Inspired by the hare, our shoe gives you feet that are just as agile in the snow, with pads designed to challenge all types of snowy terrain. Ready to leap like a hare on the snow?

Do they protect against all conditions?

With its ability to keep feet warm and breathable, it's the perfect combo. Thanks to its HDRY waterproof membrane on the outside, goodbye wet feet! Perfect for intense adventures, it won't let you down, even in the worst adventures.

What is thermal comfort?

The thermal comfort of your footwear comes from its ability to keep the foot warm, while maintaining air circulation to prevent moisture build-up. Designed for regular, intense use, their waterproof membrane wicks away moisture while preventing water penetration.

Are they 100% waterproof?

Our shoes are designed to withstand the elements. After rigorous lab testing, they were put through their paces on kilometers of technical trail walking. This model of shoe has been tested to 100,000 flexes for foolproof waterproofing.

Grip or adhesion? The differences

For grip, imagine the studs on the shoes as claws that grip the ground as you climb.
For grip, the ridges under the soles act like car tires, keeping you stable on slippery ground! With them, tame winter terrain like a boss!

What does Snow Contact technology offer?

The combination of grippy components and specific crampon design ensures good grip on snow. The crampons are precisely positioned and designed to hug the snow and evacuate water. However, for use on ice, add anti-slip grips.

Is foot support essential?

Good shoe support is essential for your comfort and performance in the mountains. It stabilizes your steps on both ascents and descents, and prevents you from overheating, reducing fatigue and preserving your energy on long mountain outings.

Are they suitable for snowshoeing?

Made for snowshoeing, our boots feature a mid-height shaft and anti-intrusion gaiters for guaranteed protection. The quick-release system optimizes the shoe's fit, guaranteeing a perfect experience during your winter outings.

How long will it last?

To ensure your complete satisfaction, our engineers subject our products to a battery of laboratory tests. These include eyelet and strap resistance, bonding quality, toxicological safety, UV resistance, sole and upper longevity, and accelerated aging.

How can I make my shoes easier to put on?

To slip this model on with total ease, open the zipper and fold the gaiter over the shoe to reach the helper handle. Once released, our quick lacing system allows your foot to find its place in the blink of an eye, for an ultra-easy wearing experience.

What to wear for a snow hike

To equip yourself for winter, we recommend that you choose socks:
- Warm: merino wool,
- Breathable: depending on the intensity of the outing, to limit humidity,
- High or Mid: depending on the height of the shoe upper.

How to preserve waterproofing?

Imagine your waterproof pair as a shield against water! Its water repellency makes it waterproof, breathable and lightweight. However, this power sometimes needs a little refreshing to remain effective. All it takes is a spritz of spray to invigorate the material and keep it weather-ready.

How do I dry the inside of my pair?

To effectively dry the inside of damp shoes, remove the insole, use newspaper to absorb the moisture and change it regularly. Avoid direct heat sources, which can damage the material, and dry in a warm, dry, well-ventilated place.
